Objective:
ASM’s IBMR is ranked amongst the top B schools in India by AIMA, DSJ Business Baron. It provides two years full time Master’s Degree course to nurture the students in management and professional skills on par with the global standards.
Job Opportunities:
Students with MBA degree can aspire to join organizations as Jr. Executive in their choice of area like marketing, finance, HR etc. and climb up to reach the posts of executive senior managers in their respective departments. Students with a flair for entrepreneurship can also begin their own enterprise.
Eligibility:
Any graduate with 50% marks (45% for reserved category students, graduated from University within Maharashtra) or those who are appearing for their final year degree examination in any discipline of an approved University.
Internship:
Students of MBA have to undertake an industrial project in the area of their specialization i.e. Finance, Systems, Marketing etc. The project duration is two months during summer vacation after Semester II in the industry of student’s choice.
Admission Procedure:
The students seeking admission to MBA in ASM’s IBMR/IIBR/IPS are required to appear for the CET (Common Entrance Test), GD & PI conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra or the Institute level exam conducted by the Association of Management of MBA/ MMS Institutes (AMMI). Students who have appeared for Feb-MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT and CAT can also apply to DTE for GD & PI (20% of intake reserved under Management seat)
Admissions under Foreign Nationals / PIO / Children of Employee in Gulf / NRI Category
International Students who have a valid Bachelors' Degree can apply for admissions under the above category. They will have to complete all formalities stipulated by the concerned authorities from time to time.

As per Pune University norms a MBA Student can opt for a specialization (Functional Elective I, II, III, IV, V and VI) in any one functional areas of management. Any one of the following groups can be selected in the SEMESTER III AND SEMESTER IV.
Each group will constitute of 6 subjects for the SEMESTER III and 5 subjects for the Semester IV.
The functional Groups available are:
- Group A Marketing Management
- Group B Financial Management
- Group C Computer Management
- Group D Production and Material Management
- Group E Human Resource Management.
Note: Specialization will be offered only if a minimum of 15 students opt for the same.
