The Foundation stone laying ceremony of the building of 1,10,000 Sq. ft. for the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS)” promoted by the ASM Chinchwad, Pune 19 was held on 25th of January 2007 at the auspicious hands of The honorable Vice –Chancellor of University of Pune, Dr. Narendraji Jadhav. The Vice Chancellor speaking on the occasion highlighted the necessity of Mindset change in the educational institute and in particular the B- Schools. He expressed the view that today’s curricula and the quality of educational efforts are far behind the expectations of the industries around. He also mentioned the big gap between the rate of growth of industries especially when one looks at Pune, as an IT hub, Auto hub and Biotech hub and the level of Management Education. Dr. Sandeep Pachpande, Chairman of ASM introduced the chief guest and shed light on the overall growth and future aspirations of the ASM group. The ceremony was well attended by eminent personalities from Pimpri Chinchwad and staff of ASM group of Institutes.
